Executive Summary – Sustainable shipping for the future
New technologies make a paradigm shift possible in the shipping industry towards a fully sustainable future with zero emissions. The team behind Greenships brings in various competences in order to develop new technology concepts for Container ships and Freighters/RoRo ships, along with naval vessels,  in order to fill an identified market need both in the Nordic and international market.The ships will part of a sustainable goods transportation solution, where containers and trucks are moved from congested roads to sea, in a cost competitive, time efficient and more environmental friendly way.

Special Competencies: 
Ship design, Ship specifications, long experience with many ship vendor companies such as Siemens, General Electric, Kongsberg, Voith, Corvus, PG, DNV GL, etc. Design of various ships.

Experience: 
Worked in major oil companies, ship owning companies, two years offshore experience, long experience working as a technical consultant for ship yards, ship owners, subsea operators, vendor companies.
Special Experience: 
Design of special offshore ships, drill ships, cruise ships, yachts, fast/slow ferries and naval ships.(IMO and SOLAS)

Arvid Ystad
Consultant
Arvid Ystad holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He has over 40 years of experience across the oil industry, management consulting, and banking in Norway. A graduate of the Norwegian Army Officer School (Field Artillery), combined with multiple military refresher trainings, he has developed a strong personal interest in defense, military systems, and Norway’s national security.

Pål Skauge
Consultant
Pål is a strategic marketing and business consultant who builds creative, practical solutions with measurable results. He combines modern tools with broad interdisciplinary experience. Has advanced training in  leadership development, operational efficiency, media  production and digital platforms. Solution-oriented across maritime innovation, strategy execution and market-oriented implementation. He helps turn ambitions into clear roadmaps, disciplined execution and concrete results.
